Aaroop Sankar Bio

Aaroop Sankar is a Vice President, Portfolio Operations, of KPS Capital Partners. KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $21.3 billion of assets under management (as of September 30, 2023, pro forma for the final close of Fund VI and Mid-Cap Fund II)1 focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing. Prior to joining KPS in 2021, Mr. Sankar was a Director at AlixPartners. Prior to AlixPartners, Mr. Sankar held various positions at Booz & Company, ConocoPhillips and Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Sankar holds a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
